Caught in the storm recount

When I was the age of 5, I was so afraid when there is lightning. Whenever the lightning occurs, will covered my ears with my hands and shout for my parents. I will feel so afarid till my face turn pale white and cannot even speak out a word. If there is lightning at night, I cannot sleep as I felt very irritated by the thunderous sound of lightning. From then on, I have been used to the sound of lightning and not to be afraid of that anymore.
