Reflective Summary
After five weeks of doing researches and readings on tigers and iguanas conservation, I have learnt a couple of things such as to know why there is a need to conserve the tigers and iguanas, the causes and effects of the problem which the they face and to suggest possible solutions which can help them to solve the problem.
I have also improved on my knowledge by knowing that tigers in India contain 60% of the world population. The tigers’ population starts to decrease as their habitats were destroyed. This was due to agriculture, farming and activities carried out in the forests.
I have also learnt that some people in the world are very cruel as they introduce animals to eat the Iguanas. I think these people should stop this habit and do help to conserve the Iguanas.
My perspectives have changed after doing my research. At first, I used to think that tigers and iguanas decrease because they are being hunted only. Actually, the tigers’ populations decrease because their habitats were destroyed for farming, agriculture and activities carried out in the forests and animals are introduced by humans to eat up the iguanas. I am very anxious because if the tigers and iguanas will extinct one day.
I wish I can join the ‘Tiger Trust’ and ‘Iguana Specialist Group’ which can help to conserve Tigers and Iguanas. Now, we should really stop destroying the tigers’ habitats and give them a better environment to live in and also stop introducing animals to eat up the Iguanas.
