Reflective Journal 1
I discussed with my group members and we planned to do research on iguanas and tigers for the India conservation. We did research on tigers and iguanas in India to find out the details of them. I have learnt that we need to conserve on tigers as during the 1950s and early 1960s, there were 3000 tigers lost their lives because of the hunting activities that were carried out. Most of the hunters were tourists.

I have also learnt that we have to conserve on iguanas as they are one of the most endangered species of the world’s lizards. Their habitats are killed and foreign animals are introduced to eat small iguanas and the iguanas’ eggs. Therefore, we have to start conserving on these two animals.

My views have changed after doing the first research. At first, I thought that tigers and iguanas are going to extinct because there is no continuous reproduction carried out by them. Actually, the tigers are going to extinct because hunters hunt them and the iguanas are going to decrease because their habitats are destroyed by humans. I feel very worried that one day tigers and iguanas will extinct and they cannot be seen anymore. I can help to improve on this situation by advising people to stop hunting tigers so that the tigers will have a better environment to live in and also stop destroying iguanas’ habitats.
